June Acoustic Shows

Time flies!

And the urge to update the band's blog has arrived!

Haha.

Updates:

We have welcomed a couple of new members abroad and hoping to kick-start as soon as Terry's back from his wonderful holiday in Australia. As for me, i've just enrolled into Law degree so been trying to catch up with college and stuff, and have no idea what the rest of them are doing just yet. But i'll find out soon. We may sound like we have distant relationships but deep inside, i know they missed me and we tight yo! *fingers crossed*

Oh, and there were a couple of birthdays and a wedding as well(one that i missed on my birthday! sorry abang keng!).

Congratulations to Uncle Keng! Wish you lots and lots of joy and babies!
Happy belated birthday to Uncle Terry, myself and to all the Junies! *what do you call those whose birthday is in the month of June?*

For the month of June, the band, or i would say me/myself/alone, has been performing acoustic sessions for several events. Would also like to thank Danny New for always being there to back me up on the violins as well as some good friends who were always there to support. You know who you are and i love you guys!

I had the privilege to be able to be part of the Monsoon Records Night Show at Laundry Bar, being a guest vocalist for this amazing band called Goodbye 20th Century!(link) Thank you, Andri! Man, they are really nice people and not to mention, a great band with great music. Do check them out on their upcoming shows!

We also had the opportunity to perform on set for the Open Mic Jam @ NTV7 Studio in Glenmarie. It was pre-recorded for the program REMAJA @ TV3 and was broadcasted on national tv on the 4th July, 2010. *memorable* A big THANK YOU to Prakash and DeqOne (TV Host @ Remaja) for the kind hospitality.
For those who missed out on it, we'll be posting up the video as soon as we have it in our hands!

Hoping to get onto a serious practice/songwriting-mode and there're also plans for recording as well. So, be patient with us! Till then, dont worry, be happy!

Cheers!

Eve

Recollections:

EVE @ SMILE FOR CHANGE CHARITY EVENT

- Small event with a big heart! Organized by the YES Alumni in support of the Women's Aid Organization Child Care Centre. Am proud to have been part of it! Kudos! -

EVE @ FETE DE LA MUSIQUE 2010, The Curve

- Had my most stressful pre-gig moments when Lam informed me that he was having a bad fever like an hour before show and couldn't make it. THANK GOD FOR DANNY! And how he can always overlook my mistakes during a song and still plays his heart out for a good show! -
